Smiles are very important in communicating with others. Aesthetic dentistry aims to improve the aesthetics of the smile by coordinating the work of various disciplines. It includes dental whitening, aesthetic fillings (see conservative dentistry), porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges in innovative and aesthetic materials such as zirconium and lithium disilicate (see dental prosthesis) and periodontal plastic surgery (of the gums – see periodontology):

It is thus possible to improve defects such as the color and shape of the teeth, replace missing teeth, correct gum defects such as recessions, tattoos or lack of harmony that make the smile unpleasant.

Dental whitening allows to improve the color of the teeth in a non-invasive way, giving an immediately whiter and therefore younger and healthier appearance to our smile. The technique used allows a bleaching of 6-8 shades compared to the starting color. The method is carried out only by qualified personnel, the hygienist with a degree in dental hygiene, after a visit by Dr., given the importance of preparing patients, who must have healthy teeth and gums and carry out a preliminary oral hygiene session. The whitening effect lasts over time and can be associated with a home whitening kit, with a maintenance effect and tailor-made for the patient.
